British Open Pairs Champions 2013
Trina and Zoe Jones won the British Open Ladies Pairs Championship 2013. The pair beat Lorraine Farlam and Anastasia Dobroyslovia 3-0 in the final.
Trina also was runner up in the ladies singles losing 5-3 to Deta Hedham.
Trina Gulliver MBE investiture will now take place at Buckingham Palace on the 24th January 2014. The original scheduled date, 3rd October 2013, coincided with the Darts World Cup (this year in Canada) an event that takes place once every two years. Trina, Captain of the England ladies squad, asked if the investiture date could be revised and under the circumstances Buckingham Palace agreed.
Catrina Elizabeth Gulliver MBE
Trina Gulliver has been awarded a ‘Member of the Order of the British Empire’ (MBE) in the Queen’s 2013 Birthday Honours list. The official communication from the Cabinet Office was published today 15th June 2013 in the London Gazette.
Trina was awarded the MBE in recognition to ‘Services to Darts and Charitable Fundraising’. Trina will now formally be known as ‘Catrina Elizabeth Gulliver MBE’. But prefers just to be called 'Trina'
Trina will collect her award from St James Palace on a date yet to be confirmed; however this is usually within a seven month period of the official announcement.
Trina said she is thrilled with the honour and would like to thank everyone who made this possible.
World Cup 2013
Trina Gulliver and Deta Headman will represent England in this year’s World Cup. The event will be staged in Canada and England hope to retain both the men’s and the ladies World Cup's they won last year in Ireland.
England’s men’s team will consist of Martin Adam’s, Glen Durrett, Tony O’Shea and Scott Waites
German Open 2013
Trina and Deta have won the German Open ladies pair’s championship for the second time.
British Internationals 2013 April 6/7
It was an all-England win at the British Internals. England won the men’s, ladies and both youth championships at the weekend. Trina (England Ladies Captain) was very proud of her team. It makes England British International champions for the 25th time.
Dutch Open Singles and Pairs Champion 2013
Trina claimed her fifth Dutch Open Singles title adding to 1999, 2007, 2009 & 2011 previous Dutch Open title victories. In the final she beat Lorraine Farlam and in the Semi-Finals she enjoyed victory over Deta Hedman.
Trina also made it a double with pairs partner Zoe Jones as they won the Dutch Open Women's Pairs title.
Kent Open Champion 2013
Trina won her sixth Kent open ladies singles title at the weekend. She beat defending champions Deta Hedman 3-1 in the final.
Lakeside World Darts Championship 2013
Trina played in her thirteenth consecutive Ladies World Champion finals losing out to the eventual winner Anastasia Dobromyslava 2-1 in the semi-finals. Trina has reached this stage of the Ladies Darts Championship since it started in 2001.
